Binary Tree
Binary Tree
The Binary Tree introduces the concept of tree data structures. The child uses the branches and connectors to construct a concrete tree that mirrors the abstract concept of the binary tree. This also introduces the child to the concept of exponential sequences.
Children can first sort the pieces based on size and color, and then assemble their own tree - visually understanding that each level doubles in number of branches, as the individual pieces decrease in size. Perfect for individual exploration or collaborative play, the Binary Tree works well on the table or the floor, and creates a beautiful structure when assembled.
Recommended for children ages 3 to 9
Dimensions:
~21 x 20 x 20 inches (when assembled)
